Privacy, in plain English.
Hesperos is a one-person studio. The site collects as little as possible, never sells your data, and only uses what you send to reply to you. Here’s exactly what that means.
What I collect
- What you send me. If you email me or use the contact page, I receive your email address and whatever you write.
- Free site audit. When you run the audit, the website address you enter is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights to generate the scores. If you then request the full report, your email address and those scores are sent to my inbox through Resend, my email provider, so I can reply to you. Nothing is stored in a database and you are not added to any list.
- Basic analytics. The host (Vercel) records standard, aggregated request data such as page views and country. This isn’t tied to your identity.
How I use it
- To reply to you and, if you ask, to send your audit report.
- To scope, quote, and deliver work you’ve asked about.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is performing.
I do not sell, rent, or share your information, and I don’t add you to a marketing list without you asking.
Who else is involved
Three third parties process data so the site can function: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google PageSpeed Insights (the audit scores), and Resend (delivering audit report requests to my inbox). Each has its own privacy policy.
How long I keep it
I keep emails and project correspondence only as long as needed to do the work and meet basic record-keeping obligations. Ask me to delete your details and I will.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you, request a copy, or have it corrected or deleted. Just email hello@hesperos.dev and I’ll handle it personally.
